Soul

Some people say that we, as humans, are a soul which includes our mind and body, as one entity. This is possible, but that would mean our souls die along with us when we inevitably pass away. Though as far as I can tell, most people believe in some sort of afterlife. I have no idea what it would be, but it seems that our souls would live on. So the other possibility is that the soul is what is trapped temporarily inside a body, a being that can be any part of nature in multiple lives. Why is it that a lovely sparrow would have to dwindle in it's short life? I would like to think that it doesn't, that instead it would have been a human, a lizard, a tree in a past life. No matter what home it's soul found rest in, it is always the same soul. I would say this is the case. x
